About our Neighborhood:

Established in 1971, Englewood Isles is a lovely 184 home neighborhood perched on the stunning shores of Lemon Bay between Englewood and Venice Florida.  Our deed-restricted community is a perfect place for water lovers and beach bums alike. A lot of the homes are built alongside waterways that run directly into Lemon Bay and then on to the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We are a five minute drive from beautiful Manasota Beach, with miles of soft white sand for swimming, sunbathing, and shelling. Many homes have private boat docks and lifts, but for those who do not there is convenient access to the community marina where residents can dock and service their boats. As you might expect, boating and fishing are extremely popular past times, so here you will find many kindred spirits with a nautical bent and a love for nature.  Some of the properties are located within a bird sanctuary and all are hosts to a variety of unique Florida wildlife including bald eagles, tropical birds, dolphins, and manatees - right in our own back yard!

In Englewood Isles we are miles from the crowd, but always close to the services and amenities we need. Both Englewood and Venice offer great shopping, plenty of choices for dining and entertainment, medical facilities, and terrific schools. Public water and sewer serves the area  and our utilities are placed safely underground to help maintain the open, natural feel.
